I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land and waters of Australia. I pay my respects to all Elders- past, present, and emerging.
I have postgraduate degrees, over 15 years of clinical experience, and accreditation as a Supervisor and EMDRAA therapist. These qualifications are reflective of my training, and I am constantly learning and evolving with my patients.
My clinical interests are in attachment and relational vulnerability, complex and intergenerational trauma, dissociative states, and migrant mental health.
The focus of treatment is working with the effects of trauma on one's sense of self. I strive to offer safety and emotional containment from which the journey of self-integration may commence.
The only time we have is now, and what we do with our time makes a significant impact on our life.
The aim of my practice is to build and enhance connectedness with self, and gradually improve relationships with others. To achieve this successfully, I offer long-term relational and insight-oriented psychotherapy. This type of therapy leads to a deep exploration of issues you may have struggled with for a long time. Regular psychotherapy sessions build safety, trust, and emotional containment.
I offer the initial two sessions as an opportunity for both of us to decide if we are a good fit to continue on to long-term treatment.
Guided by research in trauma-informed care, and my own clinical experience, I offer longer sessions. 75-minute and 60-minute sessions allow us to deeply reflect in an unhurried and safe manner.
My fee is $285 for a 75-minute appointment and $228 for a 60-minute appointment. Up to twenty Medicare rebates are available each year. Please speak with your GP and/or Psychiatrist for a referral to a Mental Health Care Plan should you wish to access Medicare rebates.
Referrers: Please advise your patients to contact me directly for appointments. Please email, or leave a message so I can return your call.
